For those of you who missed the update, McCain picked Sarah Palin as his VP running mate.

Sarah Palin is a young, attractive woman with practically no political experience. She has under her belt only one term as governor of Alaska, one term as mayor of a town in Alaska, and a City Council Member of a town in Alaska. There are more elk in Alaska than people. (Who, by the way, she cares little for. She wants to dig up the oil in Alaska, which will hurt more of Alaska's overall population.)

Okay. This woman is younger than my mother. She is pro-life, yet is a hunter and a member of the National Rifle Association. Her oldest child is fighting in Iraq, and her youngest has Down Syndrome. Seriously, McCain just picked her for the sake of change! It's going out as propaganda to all the soccer moms! It couldn't have been for her political competence. More importantly:

"Nevertheless, she is under investigation for her firing of a state official, Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan. She has been instructed to hand over documents and recordings of telephone conversations as part of the inquiry, which grew out of allegations that she sacked Monegan for refusing to fire her former brother-in-law from the state police."

Barely into politics, and a corrupted nutjob already? Gah.

Suddenly, McCain's health becomes a central issue. He's had four individual fights with cancer already. He's seventy-two. I'm not going to say he's definitely going to die in term, but it's a damn good possibility. My guess is that it's between 20-40%. Should that happen, Palin will take over as president.

SHE'S PROBABLY THE LEAST QUALIFIED PERSON FOR THE JOB IN THE COUNTRY!! My ten year old brother's more qualified! At least he has some semblance of common sense.

All in all, the propaganda here disgusts me.
